The days may be getting cooler and shorter, but we’ve got the perfect remedy for beating the post-summertime blues: fall RV camping! There are so many reasons why we love fall camping in BC, and here in Chilliwack there are plenty of family-friendly campgrounds that stay open 365-days a year.
The cooler temperatures can make outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking and horseback riding a lot more comfortable (the peak of summer in Chilliwack can be so overwhelmingly hot!), and our unique location keeps us shielded from a lot of the nasty weather that the rest of Canada experiences in the fall and winter. There are also far less people at parks and beaches, (you can finally pick the best site at the campground!), and campsite rentals are typically cheaper due to “off-season” pricing. Less lines, less sunburns, less traffic, less bugs, less people, and a whole lot more adventures to be had? Sign us up!
The team here at O’Connor RV has put together a list of some of our favourite local all-season campgrounds to help you plan your next weekend camping adventure. Here’s a few great spots where you can take the family to enjoy the great outdoors this fall!

Not only is fall prime-time for enjoying the great outdoors in beautiful British Columbia, but it’s also a great time to score huge savings on a new trailer, camper or motorhome. Many folks sell their very-gently used units at the end of summer, providing a generous supply of pre-owned RVs at incredible prices. We also run our annual Red Flag RV Deals promotion at the end of the summer season, offering our customers great deals on a wide range of brand new units. And for those who will be adopting the year-round camping lifestyle, we have no shortage of four-season trailers in stock from popular manufacturers like Outdoors RV and Northern Lite.
Feel free to browse our inventory of RVs online, visit us at the O’Connor RV dealership, or give us a call to chat - we love to talk about all things camping, our fine province of British Columbia, and how to continue to enjoy RV camping with your friends and family this fall!
